JNTC has secured the advanced technology of digital devices early on by reading the trend of future technological changes.
It has established a high market entry barrier and competitiveness by developing high value-added connector products such as C-Type and waterproof function. We have applied to tempered glass an antimicrobial function, as well as various tempered glass technology such as AG (anti-glare), AR (anti-reflective), SLG (Sapphire-like Glass; high hardness glass), etc. In addition, we have secured mid- to large-sized 3D thermoforming technology that can be applied to high-end tablets and automotive tempered glass.

Process Technology
  • Glass protection technology between processes (2010 ~)
  • In order to reduce handling defects between processes, we printed protective ink on the surface of the full sheet (1900*1460mm) glass provided by our raw material vendor to improve the yield.

  • Water Jet cutting technology
  • This is a method of processing a full glass sheet (1900*1460mm) into the customer's smartphone window size. We have increased the production quantity by stacking and cutting glass with high pressure water with grindstone.

  • CNC In-Line automation technology
  • The process of manual inserting/removing glass has been inlined and changed to automatic, reducing the number of people by 1/30.

  • Vision inspection technology
  • The human inspection of tempered bare glass was replaced by the development of an automatic vision inspection machine, achieving cost reduction and quality stability.

  • AF Coating technology
  • By developing a sputter method equipment from the E-beam method, an AF coating method, the number of coatings has been improved from 250 cells to 1,000 cells, increasing productivity four-fold.

  • Automated packaging technology
  • Automated the manual process for attaching the window protection film, which was a customer requirement. Automated the sequential front/rear attaching process, ensuring quality and reducing labor costs.
3D Window
  • 3D asymmetric curvature thermoforming technology
  • We developed a technology for thermoforming 2D flat glass into a 3D asymmetric curved surface and applied it to new products, satisfying the customer's dimensional tolerance without secondary processing, increasing production volume and reducing labor costs through loading/unloading automation.

  • Polishing technology
  • Developed gloss polishing machine and process for thermoformed 3D asymmetric curved products and applied to new products.

  • 3D Deco lamination technology
  • Exclusive technology: laminating deco film to 3D asymmetric curved windows according to the shape of the glass, and attaching film to parts with small R values.

Coating
  • Antimicrobial coating technology
  • Silver used for general antimicrobial has a risk of allergy. In our company, we have implemented antimicrobial using hypoallergenic zinc oxide.

Automotive 3D window
  • Large-size 3D asymmetric curvature thermoforming technology
  • We developed a technology for thermoforming large size 2D flat glass into a 3D asymmetric curved surface and applied it to new products, and satisfied the customer's dimensional tolerance and appearance (1270*400mm) without secondary processing.

  • Large-size AG technology
  • This technology was implemented by etching Anti-Glass (AG) on a large size 1460*380mm 2D flat glass.

  • We have developed a semi-automatic facility and technology that can directly print Deco on large size 3D Curved Glass.

  • Insert Hoop System technology
  • A method for precision connectors by insert injection. Established a system that automatically loads into insert injection to produce precision pressed products.

  • Automatic machine production is an assembly of several element technologies (pneumatic pressure, sensor, control, etc.). Ensured productivity by configuring the optimal assembly machine, combining element technologies suitable for the characteristics of each product.

  • A production process incorporating welding technology as a method to withstand the load applied to the connector. Precise position control and multi-point welding technology mechanisms are configured to enable welding to the required position.

  • Established a precision control system for waterproofing materials inside and outside of waterproof connectors.

  • The waterproof inspection requires a certain degree of air pressure, pressurization, maintenance, etc. Implemented a facility mechanism to reduce time and enable a batch inspection in consideration of inspection time.
